Grandma’s Easy Chicken and Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2½ pounds   chicken
  • Carrots,  peeled and cut at both ends
  • Peeled onion   , cut at both ends
  • Bay leaves
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme,   or both
  • Salt,   to taste
  • Pepper   to taste
  • ½ tablespoon   low-sodium chicken seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon   low-sodium chicken broth,   adjust to taste
  • 1 can   cream of chicken soup
  • ½ tablespoon   cornstarch with water,   broth
  • 1½ tablespoons   butter
  • ½ cup   half and half
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic Powder

Dumplings

  • 2 cups   flour
  • 1 teaspoon   baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon   salt
  • Crisco Butter
  • ½ cup   milk
